Hotel Booking Niche

Hey, I found a pretty decent looking keyword "hotels in ...." it has 8000 monthly exact searches. But I am not sure if I should go for it. I read some good feedbacks about hotelscombined.com and I am thinking about driving my future users through my site there. Does anybody know what kind of conversations should I expect If e.g I drive 200 visitors day to them? Also how much I would get paid for a single user approximately? What about other similar affiliate networks? Thanks for you comments.

CJ.com has some more hotels affiliate programs. I don't know what city you are targeting but most of the "hotels in *" searches will return local results these days. Are you planning on targeting the regular or local SERPS?

It is a small city in Asia and there are no google places results so the view is clear. Yes, I know that there are some cool travel affiliate problems but the problem is I want to figure out how converting is this keyword and that type of simple scheme I am talking about.

8000 is not much. there are many kws there. so check them our with [] and see where to go than

I would go for a keyword 'book hotels' but it would probably take a couple of years to rank for Yes, 8000 is not much, but I see that I can rank it withing a month or so. What about the usual commissions in this niche?

I use hotelscombined.com on one of my sites. I really like them because they pay per lead while most of the other affiliates pay after the person has checked out. Sure the payouts are smaller with hotelscombined.com but you will make up for it in volume. I average about $0.50 - $1.50 every time somebody checks the price of a hotel. Even if they don't book, you still get paid which I think is a better solution. If you are driving 200 visitors per day you could easily see 30-60 leads per day, or more depending on how good your site is.

They also give you an entire CSV dump of all of their hotels and all of the information so you can upload into your own database.

If you want, I can PM you my website. It was the second site I ever did and has since been abandoned. You really need the traffic to make money though.

I had spent almost a year to build my site based on Wordpress. It is done by didn't have any traffic that could generate revenue, just wish to check that if you could share with me some travel directory that i could submit ? desperately need traffic for my site. sorry couldn't PM you as less than 15 post

Don't use hotels combined. They are scammer.

i collected $100 in my account , but when the time of payment came , they banned my account stating that i did't have any conversion.

Had a similar experience but managed to negotiate my way back in.
