HOTBIT EXCHANGE SHUTS DOWN

In a statement posted to the company’s website, Hotbit said its operations would cease in the early hours of May 22, and asked users to withdraw their remaining assets by June 21 at 4 am UTC.
i cant withdraw most of my crypto that I have there

why did you keep crypto on an exchange? I've seen this happen 10s of times already in the past, DO NOT keep your money in exchamges - their wallets - their crypto.

i wanted to have some shitty coins so hotbit had that opp i fall for it , i withdraw 60% of my balance and over 40% is stuck there

Maybe swap to another asset and use a different chain to withdraw?

Exactly.

For $50 it’s totally ok, but for $5000 nope.. Keep in your own wallet and only transfer in when you want to sell/trade. I dunno why people can’t follow this simple rule.
