Got a quandary. Own the domain of chicago car insurance dot biz. Out of over 10 million listings it ranks on the big G between number 3 and number 7 for the term chicago car insurance. Also has PR4. We are not monetizing in any way at this point since was thinking of building / ranking / flipping.

Here is the downside. The site gets less than 10 hits per week. Since it is ranked any potential buyer is going to want to see the hit history.

Is the first page ranking worth anything with that few of hits?

Looking at this serp, site is #8, with 7 maps listings at the top, with huge map. On a key that gets 6600 global monthly that's about right. Just a low volume key to start with, made worse by the map domination of the serp.

You can try to flip it based on PR, and show the rank.

10 hits per week can still make you money since those are probably very targetted hits. If 2 out 10 people fill out an Insurance Information Request CPA thing, you can get good money from that. Then, use the money from CPA to buy some hits from Google ads. Edit: Also, thats not really a hot name lol. Thats a horrible name unless you actually own a Chicago based Insurance company.

Chicago car insurance gets only 1,000 exact searches per month. That is local and global. Like Crixus said, being that far below the maps listing sucks. You are fighting with a lot of competition. Instead of being #8 in the serps you are down the page after maps and 7 more organic listings.

The only suggestion that I can make to you is build some links and get the site to the number 1 spot. I will also PM you another idea that I have.
