Hi there,

Have you guys been affected by this?

My site keeps going off line for the last 2 days, according to their feedback they have been under attacked.

Please let me know since I'm getting really frustrated

Same here. Only thing I need from hosting is to be up and running. That isn't the case here, and I think I'm moving on..

I agree they need to sort this out sooner rather than later, anyone else experiencing this with Hostamus?
 
When you have domain,go and do hosting at top hosting provider.There you will have greater uptime and better security.
 
Same thing, I'm with them for around two months and only shit happened in that time. Gonna change to Hostgator probably..
 
I use hostgator and I got hacked,they fixed it free and I didn't even know I had been hacked until I read the message when I paid my bills to say I had been hacked and they had replaced the hacked files for me.That's service.I've never had a site down with them.
People look for the cheapest hosting what do you expect,seriously,I don't get it,if you're income is based on your sites why would you go cheap?If googlebot happens to visit your site and it's down,expect your site to drop at the very least.
 
Honestly I like hostgator the best, I used that hosting program, for a few years and never had one problem.
 
My site got completely wiped out and
they don't back up the files so I lost all of them...

Probably going to switch to hostgator.

Is there any way to get the hosting without ID verification.
 
I have been with them for almost a year, I never really had any problems with them. Now all of a sudden, in the past three days I have been told that I am using 3x my resources. I have done nothing different & have no clue what the problem is.

I am in the process of moving hosting as well...

I have tried many of the hosting companies (well the well known ones) out there, and they have all caused me problems. I joined Hostwinds about 8 months ago with a level 8 VPS. And to be honest in the begining there where a few problems because many of my site are pretty large WP sites. I was in verbal contact with Peter for about 3 or 4 weeks untill we worked the problems out.

Now fast forward to the 14th June I was also having problems with site speed etc, plus I had also suffered with the Google penguin stuff lol. Anyways in a crazy moment on my part I switched to another VPS (bad decision on my part) My sites ended up in a good old mess because of the new companies methods of transfering the domain/sites, no emails, no sites, nightmare ville.

Anyway I spoke with Peter, and he and is staff helped move me back to Hostwinds, clear up all the issues created by the host from hell and now things are working again.

We also to talked about site load speeds, and he did some updates and changes to the server etc. Now my sites are loading fast woo woo.
My lesson in all this is stop jumping around between hosting companies (they all have problems from time to time) and to Nurture a better relationship with the Host I am with.

So My thanks to Peter and his staff ... great job

I know how you feel.

Same happen to me - looking for a new hosting also. They are sayin that we use more than 2x of the CPU for 15min. and the real problem is that they had a 'short DDOS'.

What I get is a 1 month of arguing without refund from them. Trying to change hosting company.

ive used hostgator for 6 years and havent had 1 minute of down time, or slow loading time.
