Not the first time I'm writing this here. Something tells me it's not going to the last, until I move the sites from their server anyway.

My sites just go offline for no f*kin reason at all. I open a support ticket they feel the issue. And then X days pass and it's the same old bullshit again.

Save yourself.

When they fix the issue, do they explain what exactly was wrong?
 
They have a history of this how did you go with them is my question
 
There has been a good few complaints about host winds lately.
I think they are an official bhw partner so maybe you can shitlist them and others will join you with their complaints.
 
I had some issues with them as well. I was an affiliate for them and I drove like 10 - 15 sales to them from people who bought their services with bitcoin. After my commissions accumulated to $600+, I decided to withdraw them.

They told me that generated sales from people who pay with bitcoin, don't count...

WTF !!??!!

Wow this is really scammy. Even if they state it in their TOS.

If they haven't included it anywhere, it's even illegal
 
There are like a million hosting companies out there. I think BHWers have some fixation with this shit host. Just use hawkhost or a2 if you are a beginner.
 
Used them for a few months a few years back, moved on and never looked back. There are definitely a lot of better hosting in the marketplace
 
Not sure about other plans but their shared hosting definitely sucks big time. I had a client from here (not gonna mention his name unless he likes to come up and reveal it) for whom I did migration from hw to a well known vps provider. It was one of the most horrific migration experience ever, to say the least. Luckily, his site wasn't affected too much, and the down time was minimum too. Not to mention that his site loads FAST now after the migration.

I definitely recommend NOT using hw's shared hosting if you are serious about your business.
 
I had the same experience. Their hosting is shit. Moved to HawkHost and already liking it!
 
Oh woah, I didn’t know so many people had a bad experience with HostWinds. That’s not good!
