How many domains can you buy with same coupon with one account?
 
5 domains you can register.
 
I don't even see a way to register a domain with them, just hostings.

sign up with them and you will see register domain option. You can register there and host with any hosting company. Hope It will be helpful for your. Good luck.

When I signup I have to select a hosting plan :/ can you provide a direct way to register a domain? I was barely unable to find that if they serve or not
 
Yup, you gotta pay like $30 for hosting in order to register, haven't found a way to bypass this yet.
