I'm looking at 3 different packages with hostgator.

The business package which is the highest has a dedicated IP. DO I want my Ip dedicated? or should I choose a Smaller package?

    Thanks.

Well dedicated IP's help with SEO, and it helps from getting your account's email getting blacklisted because of spammers on the same IP, but I personally would go for something else than hostgator, they are just another oversold host.

ya I would tend to agree - with what scott said. hostgator isn't really the best dedicated host.

I would also mention, if you're just starting, with a dozen or so sites planned, start with the shared hosting and see how it goes.
