Hi guys,

First of all: I have a entertainment website that is video based.
Today I decided (not sure yet) to leave Youtube and want to host video's on my own Wordpress site. I did some research about it, you need to have a video player like JWplayer or flowplayer? For commercial use you will need to buy a license from them. Does this mean that if I want to use Adsense on my site I need to buy the commercial license?

What do I need else??

And how do you host video's on your own Wordpress site? Or do you recommend using an other company to host videos on? (I don't have a big budget)

The reason why I want to leave Youtube is because it's against Google's TOS to use Youtube video's on your site for commercial use. ( Adsense account could get suspended)

Are there any other people on here that have a entertainment website with video's and Adsense?
Other tips or recommendations are welcome because I'm kinda stuck and don't know what to do. I don't want to infringe Google's TOS and get my Adsense account banned.....

Thank you very much all info is appreciated!

Videos will be hosted where you hosted your site. And many free video plugins are available to play those video files...

E.g.: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/kvs-flv-player/

hey man i recomend a good html5 player and just uploading it to your host via FTP
html5 Videos or
mediaelementjs plugin sorry it wont let me post links yet
im pretty sure you dont have to pay for them...even for comercial use

If you have a lot of videos, you may want to use Amazon's S3 hosting. Will save you a lot of money on bandwidth, which videos normally use a lot of.
