Hosting that ignores DMCA

I am curious about DMCA.


If i want to start a website that links to Copyrighted Videos but none of the stuff is hosted on my server. What advice would you give me? Currently i am in Canada.


1. Would it make a difference between Canada Hosting and USA Hosting?


(I heard it affects google rank but since google is an american company)


2. Would it even matter if my hosting is not in the usa?

Yes it does matter, I think all US hosts will be responsive to DMCA requests or will be high risk/short lived as it is the law of the land here. There are people here that can recommend good hosting, I know some members even used to run hosts for the type of thing you're looking for that will completely ignore DMCAs, can't put you in touch with a specific person because I don't remember but hopefully they chime in.
 
If all you're doing is linking to videos someone else is hosting, I really don't think you have to worry about DMCA. There's nothing for you to take down.
 
I own a porn forum and users having been linking copyrighted porn download videos for 4 years. And i logged into my google webmaster tools today and i seen this from Nov 2013.

So i was starting to get worried.




I was thinking about moving away from hostgator since they are in the usa and moving it to a canada hosting. crocweb or netelligent since they are canadian and i am canadian. So i can be safe here.


Maybe i am being too paranoid?

If your issue is with G removing search results for a DMCA that has nothing to do with your host. It means Google was given a DMCA to remove a result you had up, your hosting wont matter. I thought that they only remove the 1 page that has copyrighted material from search results not your whole site though right? Either case hosting wont affect it as the DMCA is being sent to Google and not your hosting provider in your example.
 
lots of good offshore hosts you can pick from..

best way to find one that will fit your needs perfectly is: use http://www.whoishostingthis.com/ and figure what the other websites in the same niche are using and use them..

if their stuff is running okay.. you should have no problem what so ever too.

Thats better than us giving you a list of 4-5 i like and you still having doubts if they will be okay with your website or not.
 
All you need is an offshore hosting in Holland or in Eastern Europe. You won't have problems there.
 
if you want dmca to be ignored you need offshore hosting
 
Has anyone tried Bulletproofvps.com or alibabahost i heard these were good also wondering whats a good offshore provider, are they safe enough to sign up with your real name or use different details?
 
You can try knownsrv.I used them when i was doing warez stuff.

I've tried alibabahost 3, 4 years ago and don't have good memories. I had frequent downtimes with them.

Knownsrv was one of the best offshore hosting I've used in the past, but after a while the quality of their hosting dropped and I decided to leave them. Don't remember with what hosting company I replaced them, but I remember it was good and it was in Holland.
 
1) Avoid USA/canada hosting. Choose NL etc hosting.
2) For good quality offshore hosting: koddos/bulletproofvpn. For Cheap & average offshore hosting: knownsrv/shinjiru.
3) Yes, it will affect search engine if the copyright owner request link removal from google.
4) Linking dmca video = uploading dmca video = illegal content. Both actions are liable for dmca takedown, but less law pursuit liability for linking dmca content.

By putting real details is to ensure account recovery after being hacked/stolen etc.
Even if you don't put real details, they can still track your payment account/ip for your identification.
 
Any one need real DMCA Ignore site. Inbox me like right now.. Locations - Pakistan, Switzerland, Near Russia. Host, VPS, server just name it.
Canada is also good location if you are selling fish-roads or Smoking PODs NOT PIRATED MOVIES or IMAGES.

they are not so good, I have heard bad reviews about them.

Take your scam somewhere else or post the hosting here.

Shinjiru offers offshore hosting and they're very good, I hardly have any downtime on my server. If you haven't tried it, you can give it a try. Koddos is another offshore host which is good, but they are expensive than Shinjiru.
 
I don't know about alibabahost because I have not tried them before, I recommend bulletproofvps, they are very stable, have been with them for a long time, and the experience have been so good, affordable and good customer care that can answer any question you throw at them.
