my host sucks. site load very slow and sometimes pictures dont load at all. I contact customer support and they put me on a different server but same problem. I am on shared hosting and this is a famous host that I wont name, but lets just say they advertise on webhostingtalk.

I want a host that is reliable. my pages are not hard to render, they are static html pages and they should load fast.

I know this question has been asked here many times, but host quality changes every day, one day they are good the next day they suck. so i wanted to start a new thread to get the most updated information.

who is a good host?

I'm with Servikus from BHW. It's hosted on SSD drives so it's very fast.

+1 for servikus for wordpress websites, if you are going to used for e-commerce, I would say buy VPS for that.

i have been with python1 since June and they have been fantastic. Sites always load fast and support is also very quick at replying.

I'm currently using Namecheap shared hosting with the UK Data centre for a few of my sites and it's fast.

Don't have a lot of experience with various hosts but it is a hell of a lot faster than Godaddy & Hostgator.

+1 for Liquidweb.

Might not be the cheapest, but their service is great, and their customer service is superb. Literally 24/7, can call these guys up at 3am with a problem and they'll handle it.

Hostwinds,have over 5 website on them. I tried servinio but hostwinds is better,but also cost little bit more.

Hetzner and firstchoicehosting.co.uk are both great companies for cheap but fast and reliable hosting.
