Hey there,
Yea, sounds funny, but I was using free hosting for my micro niche. Do you think seo depends a lot on hosting speed. Site with 1.9k usa monthly went from 44 to 81 position in few days.

Thanks

I don't know how much important it is, but everybody says it does so maybe you should stop using a free host if you really want to rank.

Yeah, Ill buy hostgator today. Waiting for more answers.

Pagespeed does affect it from what I've seen. That said I have one site hosted on a free host with a pagespeed of 92/100 that ranks just fine, but I believe this is not the norm for free hosts.

a better, faster host will be very helpful,it gives visitors faster loadtime,it will decrease the bounce rate,so google will know it and this will effect your SEO ranking

serveriai.lt has pretty good hosting, cheap and DC located in United States. i use it for many sites, speeds are great.

nice to see someone from my country ;]

sekmes;]

Maybe it's not a major factor, but if your site is really slow, google and your visitors won't like it.
Fast loading site is a basis of success.

Paid would surely be better as speed and bandwidth really matters. When you plan to purchase go for hostgator, it surely is a better service and better support too...

most important is uptime rather than open speed and even most important is to have a dedicated ip.

If you have same ip with some else site and other site receive penalty it will just your rankings too

I have talked with many people about this question, but I think the hosting speed is not so major factor, but you need it if you don't want angry visitors.
