Hello everyone,
I am running a movie downloading website since last couple months and I am using Shinjiru dedicated server that offers me Core i7 3.20 GHz with 16GB of ram(140 USD a month with cpanel and whm). Talking about my website traffic I have seen a good spike since last week receiving 20k Active users and 100k pageviews in daily basis. and here comes the problem, I have noticed that my website has gotten slower unlike before when it was really fast. Now Im not a nerd and I dont know if my web server will be able to handle the pressure when i get more traffic like im expecting at least 200k Active users daily, I dont want my website to get inaccessible even for a minute as it may cost issues to my website ranking and people not coming back to my website. so as a precautionary measure I want to fix the speed issue before things goes wrong.
Now the thing is I am really confused about why this is happening at the first place if its my server or its something else. first off when i went with Shinjiru dedicated and decided to pay 140 a month I thought it will be good enough to handle 200k active users a day. now im totally confused if its actually my hosting server and i need more resources.
I want your kind help regarding this, please guide me with your suggestions and what you think the issue might be.
