Hosting Site Network

Inquiring here before I go crazy, an overload of information out there.

to be ideal for multiple sites hosted on separate c class ip's.

is this ok to host 25 sites that are going to be used as a small network?

all unique content, not interlinked, private registration..

i personally would go with dedicated IPs, as i don't like sharing IPs with people i don't know..

It should be fine, though personally I would have multiple hosts.

thats a really good way of doing things, i remember when hostgator offerd a similar service with unique IP's re-branded as a seperate hosting company a few years ago, i remember in 2007 i had to actually write an email requesting justifcstion too the data centre why i needed an additional IP. Now its so easy just too pay around $200-250 and have 200 IP's perfect for multiple blog networks

Shared is a better option. Even seohosting.com uses shared. It is unnecessary to waste IP by dedicating them to a blog for backlinking purpose.

I personally like to get multiple small hosting accounts all over the place. Diversity and cheap.

I never listen Matt Cutts, nor you can convince me that shared IPs are better, I have my own way of doing business..

Btw what was the purpose of bumping 4 months old thread? Stick your sig?

With shared IPs You have the advantage of getting mixed up with other sites on the same IP that are not focused on seo hosting and not posting spun content to their blogs. Shared hosting was an issue when search engines did not like to see a porn site on the same IP. In the Vid, Matt Cutts is confirming that it is no longer the case.

Like I said, even seohosting.com, is using shared IPs for their SEO hosing. Aren't they the standard in the SEO hosting industry?

Also cost of hosting on dedicated C-classes is 4x higher. Why pay more, when you get no added SEO advantage?

If you are doing Aclassiphosting, that would be different. Dedicated C-classes have no benefits over shared c-classes for SEO hosting.

Yes, you are right that G no longer looks what type of sites are on same ip and treats them all in same manner..

I personally don't prefer sharing an IP with someone else for the very same reason i don't prefer to share a proxy with someone else. Not because his site could be porn/warez or whatever, but because he can be spamming, he can be doing dozen more bad stuff that might hurt me at some point. So, myself using dedicated IPs is one headache less in my extremely overwhelmed head..

At 3 of my hosts i work with from several years, i get IPs from different C classes IPs at 20 cents each, since they own several A class networks each of them. Why would i go with shared IPs?

As about seohosting.com, they are just a provider for something that there is demand for.. i don't classify them as standart

Dont forget to check bandwidth and diskspace before buying - once thats unlimited you can host hundreds of websites on same server.
