    hey,

my mate who lives in norway is willing to let me host a computer in his house (solong as I pay for the computer, and doesn't affect him).

I was gonna scrapebox the hell out of it. will this affect him and his internet connection? (its unlimited downloads and 10MBPS by memory).

    Or should I stick with a dedicated/VPS?

    Also what computer?

    cheers

You can make it work on pretty much any computer, it'll just slow a lit bit his computer, not so much his connection I think. But how are you going to connect to his computer?

I have never seen Scrapebox go over 2MB/s (download) unless i ran 15+ instances on the same machine or scraped with more than 2000 global connections.

    Even Xrumer should be fine

Depending on the price this might be even better than renting a vps. If he has more than 1 computer connected to that network the net on the other machine(s) will be affected, but still I'd say go for it
