Hi,

Can you please recommend me Hostings?

Im using Site 5 and i wish to change because it keep having downtime! Been a customer for 2-3 years and their support is good but seriously, the downtime is causing me a lot of hindrance and money.

Im looking for something that can allow me to host < 10 websites and have good speed. I get less than 10k visitors per month and the bandwidth shouldn't be huge.

I refused to use costings like iPage, Fat Cow cause i ve used them before and they aint good. I want something sturdy, reliable and i don't mind paying a bit like around $10-$20 per month if it's good.

Site5 is no more good after it was purchased by EIG.
You may go for HasteHosting.

Try PowerUp hosting, they have a sales thread here

hostgator is best for hosting m never faces issue till to date. using his service from 1 year

I'm using NameCheap. User friendly admin panel, great customer support, reasonable prices - especially for the first year.

Sorry to hear that you have downtimes with your hosting provider. Let us know if you are looking for EU based hosting.

"PowerUp hosting" - This, I'm using them at the moment, very very good customer service :)

Just a quick tip: Once you decide on the host, I'd hold off until Black Friday / Cyber Monday and get a real nice deal then.

Hi OP,

For hosting multiple sites most people usually tend to go with a shared hosting plan to get the best bang for their buck and have the ability to host dozens of sites.

However when it comes to shared hosting plans be careful because certain hosting providers like Godaddy have shared hosting servers that are loaded with so many sites that your overall site speed wont be nearly as high as it should and thus affecting both your SEO and overall user experience.

As others have mentioned, try out a few of the services advertised here on this forum, I believe the two most popular ones are Poweruphosting and Hostwinds if I am correct.

Warm Regards,

Check out Hostwinds.com. I am using them for around 2 years now & I hardly get any downtime.

PowerUpHosting is a great choice.

All the recommendations are rather unimpressive. Im looking for something on the likes of Media Temple. Like i said, i do not mind paying $20-$30 every month because this is what I'm paying to Site 5.

I check out Power Hosting and I'm definitely not settling down with a company from India. Im not being racist but i've had so much bad experience with those from India (it's not a single experience but multiple, multiple times) and I'm boycotting them (even though they have a nice website).

Im looking for a support team that is based in either Europe or USA because i learnt very quickly that support teams based in either countries, i get the best service. If i settle with a team from India, i get thrown at with broken english and the worse support ever!

Check the offers section. A lot of people are leaving site5 because of the EIG acquisition.
