Hosting my own engine.php for hrefer

Hey guys.

I have a URL that contains a list of proxies that is constantly being updated. (paid for service)

I wish to host my own engine.php (got it from the hrefer folder) and list.txt (this will contain the aforementioned url) on my shared hosting. However, when I navigate to engine.php on my hosting account (e.g. randomdomain.com/proxyc/engine.php), its giving me a 404 error. I have chmod'd the permissions to 777 on the folder and the php file.

Any help will be appreciated

may be your current hosting does not support php?

All my websites are php, wordpress being a prime example. You mean scripting for php? I am not too clued up when it comes to this kind of stuff

then may be the corect path to engines.php is like /public_html/proxyc/engines.php
have no more ideas. it should work...
