hosting for email sender

hi,
I plan to try email marketing recently, after searching and reading in the forum, two mail senders, sendy and mautic, seems promising. As I would like to do both opt-in and cold emailing, which hosting should I use to install them, normal or spam-ingore, shared hosting or vps? minimum requirement on specification? is there experienced buddy could give some advice on it?

Glad to hear that your planning to start with email marketing so some factors are
1) You need good panel
2) Setup server properly so that your warmup process will be better and quicker.
3) I really doubt there are companies who really allow cold mailing on shared or vps . As soon as you start either you will get suspended or their email ports are blocked on network level.

Even if the companies do not allow it, some basically do not care. Some only react spamcop, you can just remove the spamtrap from your list and go on. Important is reverse lookup and a lot of (still) clean IPs.

I'll use separate smtp service as email server and clean list before blasting out. the sendy/mautic is to be used as email sender, but I found many shared hosting have limited resources or cron job capability which is required for running sendy/mautic, some shared hosting has small sending quotes per hour/day, many hosting and vps don't allow mass mailing, therefore I'd like to get suggestion on available shared hosting/ vps which could be used to install sendy/mautic.

if you have any recommends and not convenient to publicly reply here pleased PM me. thanks.

I'm also interested in finding a solution for cold mailing.

Its huge chain work. You need to create SMTP from different shared and vps.
Say you created 50 SMTP and one SMTP caught in SPAM. Just one click they can suspend all your SMTP instantly and i am afraid they might not even issue refund due to TOS break.

Check BST section you might find suitable email marketing services for cold mailing
