Hosting for a Business Directory

Hi all, I am looking to make a business directory and looking at the amount of listings, towns etc I nd a host that does not cap the database size, I was with HostAmadarda for a while but my database size was an issue. Any advice on hosting that wont cost the world

if you are using shared hosting then every host is going to cap your DB size. Use a VPS or launch a $10 instance from DO/Linode and nobody will ask anything.

Use VPS or the best option would be to go with managed cloud hosting.

You can host a website on shared server and remotely connect database from any vps or cloud based db storage solutions like amazon rds

I can't see why a hosting platform would limit your db specifically and not your entire quota. Go for a VPS if you feel limited, it's pretty much the same price as shared hosting and you will not have limited resources on things like db.
