I'm on a budget.

Whats the best business plan I can use for hosting...?

I need to host several different sites... Nothing major.

Any ideas?

Take any cpanle hosting or resell if you want to have different cpanel for each site (I recommend this option).
Hostgator is what most of people use for start.

well i have like 10 sites with ipage hosting and i pay like 2 bucks a month for these and ipage have some christmas offer for 1 buck, i think it's great for a start

Hostgator and hostwinds may be fine, but why don't you look at wooservers? I hope it will serve the puropose ;)

IME, hostgator's shared hosting servers are very slow. They have a per user resource usage limit on their servers. When you add a new domain to your cpanel you will have slowed down other your web sites, due to one of your sites usage. Also, If you have some files to be downloaded by visitors their real time bandwith is suck! just 50k/s download is not acceptable todays internet.

I recommend you, If you have enough linux admin experience you should go with linux vps on linode or any other isp. you can choose your linux distribition and datacenter location for your visitors and seo purposes.

when you check your websites stats from your webmaster tools you will see you get fastest website report on the world other than shared hosting.

Just my two cents.

Hostgators baby plan does the job. It's cheap and there's 24/7 chat support (I used that frequently as a newbie).

Another vote for hostgator here. I've had no problems with downtime or even slowness since I signed up and the one time I did have to create a ticket, it was answered in no time.

hostgatoe is best ..their support is very good..

The space doesn't really matter. You can use WP Multisite to host multiple sites and preserver the disk space. I think most of the hosting will do. I got a hosting myself, pm me if you are interested, you don't need to pay anything for it.

Another thread citing HostGator as a good hosting solution. I have under 10 sites so could be what I'm looking for.

Use Hostgator, they provide goods servers, good prices, and nice support.

digitalpoint have plenty of sellers selling dirt cheap unlimited hosting package :)
