I have been looking around for hosting providers for a blog of mine which is currently at 100k+ visitors per month. With the current provider I sometimes get slow server response times of ~1.5 secs. Apart from that they are great. Btw it's a top tier shared hosting with amazing support.

I came across ScalaHosting with their managed VPS. Pricing is good. Support I don't really know.

Do you guys have any other recommendations.

hello can I know which hosting you currently use? Thank you

I'm using one from the BHW marketplace - servikus. They are amazing. Amazing support and no complaints with them regarding hosting. It's just that my site has grown quite a bit and I feel that I have to move.

well, and that in the section there are no worthy servers?

You can move to Digital Ocean VPS with litespeed web server. It'll handle your current traffic and you can also expand your specs to some extent. If your site grows even bigger, you can switch to dedicated hosting.

I'll suggest Vultr or Upcloud, better than Digitalocean. With Vultr you can get Openlitespeed directly installed but on Upcloud, you have to install it manually.

VPS is the plan. Saw some negative reviews about hostwinds. I feel comfortable with managed VPS. Looking out for it.

I like to setup everything myself, so I'm comfortable with DO. Vultr is equally good. I didn't use Upcloud, so can't say anything about it. There are tutorials available for everything, so I don't think installing server would be an issue.

It depends on what kind of page you serve (if sql queries are involved, how many queries, DB size, code processing etc...) A $5 DO droplet should easily serve 100K visitors if it's a PHP page with 2-3 db queries.

WPX
Rocket Net
BigScoot
Cloudways
Since you managed a website with 100k traffic, it's better to spend more on managed hosting

I think wpx and flywheel are good for your project

it costs $100 for 100k monthly visits

Check Mojohost Dedicated servers.
Hey,I would love to recommended wpx hosting worth the money.
Will check out. Thanks for the suggestions

Planning to get my ass on to DO. I need to learn how to set it up and manage it by myself. Cpanel made me lazy :(

Not many sql queries I believe. It's a simple WP blog.

Hostarmada or WPX
Will make it a point to check them.
When did I say hostwinds?

I was actually referring to @Starblazer

By the way, you really don't need to do that much. Deploy an openlitespeed server with the DO or Vultr from their panels and follow the instructions, once done you don't need to do anything.

Not that you referred them. I was going through the forum and came across them a lot. Mostly negative stuff. So I ruled them out.

Will be learning DO + openlitespeed setup
