My host just came back and flagged a file on my site for "{HEX}base64.inject.unclassed.6". I am looking for just a touch of information about that but Google is not helping any. Should I be looking for base64 encoded crap on the page? If so the only encoded thing on the page is a hidden link the developer tried to hide which I deleted or so i thought.

Or does it means that maybe there is some additional code that checks for the link and if it is not there then they re-write the file and I get popped for it?

I don't mind reading about it or doing additional research but would like a kick in the right direction.
