What are your thoughts about starting a hosting business you're challenges and also if I want to start a hosting business in my t what are the things to consider what are the profits I can make

Don't. It's highly oversaturated and you will not be able to offer lower(or even same) prices or better service than your competition because they have everything already in place.

It's very competitive and lots of big players advertise heavily and rely on numbers rather than quality. If I were you, I will find a pain point and try to solve or don't start it at all.

You are wrong, he can beat the competitors by offering better services at lower price, and spend on ads ads, + high affiliate commissions. In reality it depends on your budget & team members. So we need to know more details about yourself.

Funny enough I had a hosting business for a few years. Did you?

You can't compete because large players have discounts for everything - cpanel licences, servers, - they all get them for way cheaper than you can, so to be able to compete with them - you will work with negative ROI for some quite time.

Don't agree, what you mean with big players, are they Google? Their annual income is from 1m to 50m dollar. So they don't considered as big players. Big players are top 100 companies in the world. So that's it, they can be destroyed. And for him, he can take some market share easily.

No, I'm not talking about giants, google's hosting is a high-priced one, please stop posting dumb comparisons. Big players in the hosting niche are companies like hostgator, GoDaddy, bluehost etc. You can disagree with me, it's fine, that will not make your opinion right tho. Feel free to open your hosting company and see by yourself how it will become impossible to compete with them. The only chance is if you have a country where users would be more interested for some reason to host locally, then you can somehow play with the idea that you are a local business, etc. But even then, I'm 99.99% sure that you will face local competition where there will be companies offering unlimited cpanel plans for 1.99$/month. Good luck to compete with that.
