Hostgator is the only ever host I have used and I have only ever made really small websites that went no where at all. I had good experience with them which makes me want to use them again, does anyone else think Hostgator is the best for newbies like me? :)

I've been with HG for many years and in my opinion they are one of the best. They are not perfect but whenever I've had problems they corrected them right away.

HG is newbie friendly and for advanced users as well. But I think they're a good place to start. They provide help and video files for just about any task you want to perform. And if you can't find it just log into the live chat, they are always helpful.
 
I also use HG since 2 years and found n difficulty..they have a very good and supporting customer service which is a plus point of them to help newbies..
 
Ive had accounts with them for the past few years and had no problems at all. Their customer support is great too!
 
I am with hostgator/mojohost for 8+ yrs and since recently aprox 20 sites at hostgator cause i wanted extra ip connections between sites etc.

Top notch support. Great prices. Recommended.

I think hostgator is the best host for newbies because of their awesome 24/7 chat support. I made use of that function frequently when I first started out.

Speaking of which I see you posting quite a lot and all of your posts contain nice information, how long you been into Internet Marketing for?

You should make a Q&A help thread in one of the sections to help newbies starting out with any questions they may have ^.^

I guess you could say all answers can be found by using the search button but you know what people are like? lol
 
Yes,hostagator is the best in my own opinion.cheap price,easy to use interface and good an excellent customer service

HG rocks, never had a problem with them - always check for promo codes if you are a new customer.
 
Hostgator gets a lot of shit and I have no idea why...they are great. Reliable, fantastic support, and cheap as hell. A++++++ as they would say on eBay
 
No I think hostgator kinda sucks just like ipage


I use bluehost and hostmonster (same company)
and when I have to move websites around.. gator works but its a bit cumbersome with the way you have to do things.
You have to use cuteftp or filezilla hostgator just like ipage for some reason my SEF urls dont always want to work every time (unlike godaddy that they never will work)
And you always have some permissions thing with them..

off personal experience bluehost or hostmonster seems a little more reliable as far as things always working. without any real hassle of making things work.. but thats just me
 
I have 3 baby accounts and 1 VPS with them and all the problems I ever had were solved within 24 hours...
