So, I made a simple squeeze page yesterday, with an e-mail form and a 700~ word article, and I got it ranked to the 5th position on Google in one day for its keyword. I got on today and found I was randomly suspended from HostGator for "phishing".

Has anyone had similar experiences to this? Anyone know of any hosts that won't suspend me without reason that are fairly cheap?

I've emailed them back but gotten no response so far.

What else did you do? what's the full story?

The squeeze page had a single copyrighted logo and promised something i wasn't very likely to deliver.

Well, that's what made it look like phishing, and I've never known a host that allows phishing, even offshore hosts. Maybe you can try pleading your case to HG? Promise to change your site? I've gotten away with some crap on HG.

Anyone who mistakes an email form for a phishing scam should not be working for a hosting company.

WOW, everything that has to do with IM is getting more and more of a headache. Its like they dont want anyone making money. To do a simple task someone has to spend most there time and resources covering there tracks. And now there are a lot of douches on the forum like this guy in the link below, which is probably what happened to you http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-i-have-file-web-spam-google.html#post3881783
