Hostgator Suspension Issue

Hello,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, but I'm a complete newb here.

I had five domains on hostgator on a month per month basis. Woke up today to find my account suspended for TOS violation. No need to get into details, I'm guilty

My question is will I be able to sign up for a new account with HG using different details and be able to use the SAME domains (three were throwaway domains but two are ones I want to use), or will they be blacklisted?

You can get the same exact service and C-panel at Justhost, for pretty much the same price, maybe even cheaper. When you sign up just transfer the two domains that you want to keep, or just start out fresh.

As I mentioned, escalating the issue with hostgator won't solve the problem. I'm confident the account will not be unsuspended. The only thing I'm curious about is if the domains that I had connected to the suspended account are now blacklisted with hostgator. Can I used them again on another hostgator account?

would go with hostgator again? you should learn your lesson and use a different hosting company. at least i would.

Get on their chat support, apologize, ask them to enable cPanel for 48 hours (they will do). Get a new hosting, shift all your stuff to it within 48 hours.

Lol, you're probably right. Any suggestions on who to use? I need a month by month provider with unlimited domains/bandwidth, and preferably in the same price range as hostgator that accepts paypal.

Yes you can transfer all domains from a suspended account to a new account, just switch the nameservers over to the new HG ones and addon domain for each one. I have done this before without any problems.

Justhost has unlimited bandwidth, it's the same thing as hostgator in almost everyway.
