Hostgator Sucks Balls... Suggestions

Hey guys, I have my sites hosted on hostgator, and they suck big time, had alot of down time, the server is sllow and it doesn't work well with wordpress, its been a pain in the ass, and I decided I need to change to another hosting provider. So I need suggestions, Im dealing with alot of NSFW stuff so I neeed a provider who is Ok with Pr0n. Heard great thing from Arvixe, but would like to know some other alternatives.
 
Advertise on BHW
try namecheap or site5. i am happy with them.
I have used hostgator in past and it sucks.
EDIT : I did not read your entire post, i dont know namecheap and site5 allow porn or not.
 
Hostwinds for OK content (not too hardcore)

anyways for p0rn content i guess u should go with some offshore hosting but there is hardly one trustable..

Namecheap dont allow Pr0n. Never heard of site5 gotta check it our

Not sure about Hostwinds lots of mixed up oppinions, offshore hosting sounds good, but don't know any companies .___.

Hostwinds will keep spamming you saying you're going over resources and they want you to upgrade. Real pain.
 
Ok guys thanks for all your suggestions. In the end I dicided to go for Arvixe, I have to say they Rock so far, servers are very fast and the live support is great.

I hope that it stays like that for you OP.
Honestly I was hearing only bad reviews of arvixe if I try to remember.

And just want to mention...Arvixe was bought by EIG (same company which owns hostgator and many other other big host companies) on 31st Oct 14.

I think it suck because your content violated thier tos.you should try another offshore hosting which dont care about your content
 
I don't know which hosting you should choose as you use adult content but i'm here to say hostgator sucks.

had been with them for like a year because a friend let me use it even though i had hosting at a different place myself.

Switched back then my traffic doubled and no more downtime. and they used an older version of PHP so i couldn't test some stuff.

So I say, stay away!!
 
Go for certified hosting, well known name in adult hosting

Stablehost maybe? No matter what kind of hosting server, better if you can chat and get more information through LIVE Chat or e-mail. Just my 2 cents.
 
Not sure why so many go for hostgator as their first and final option, then come whining and asking if theres another host (when there are so many).

That, when "hostgator sucks" has been all over the www since 2012. Search "hostgator eig".

Protip : head over to webhostingtalk for any reviews in shared hosting. The other you can try is hostingreviews.io for more opinion.

Edit : Just saw you went with arvixe. Good luck with that. Try : "arvixe eig"
