Hostgator Shared Hosting Sucks Big Time

I did not know hostgator is garbage . I have to find something else . Site speed is pathetic

Namecheap is shared hosting but is really nice, especially their support.

My suggestions
1. Look at the BHW market place
2. Digital Ocean or WPengine are decent in my opinion
3.Avoid any shared host. At least go for a VPN.

Personally I had an OK experience with them - I was running over 100 sites on their reseller hosting plan and no issues although I agree there are definitely faster hosts out there. But you have to appreciate that you get what you pay for, if you go with a cheap and massive provider then you will probably get reliable uptime, reasonable (if strict) support and not much else.

If you want a fast host then look for a premium provider.

Personally I would recommend @HostStage @HudsonWebServices and powerup hosting as being very good.
If you are in the UK guru hosting and nimbus hosting are great as well.

And if you are on wordpress and you really want better speed then I recommend WP Rocket - its a premium speed plugin and its the best one I ahve used by far - I got very near to 100% (on gmetrics etc) and very fast loading times using this plugin.
