i have Hostgator Shared Hosting business plan. how many MNS site i host in this server to be at save side.

The spec you are looking for is all available at 'Hostgator Shared Hosting business plan' on the HG site so why are you asking BHW!

I've got over 100 on my Hostgator Shared.. had it for 3 years now. Don't worry about the numbers.
If a MNS on the shared starts earning a good bit of money it gets moved to an account of its own.

Looking at post #3 I can imagine how he manage to deserve a -29 rep.

But anyway to answer your question, hostgator claims your hosting plan is "unlimited" in terms of domains, disk space and bandwidth. So go wild and host as many sites as you want.

If one day you hit some kind of limit (such as server ressources usage) you'll still be safe, HG will simply send you an email asking you to reduce your usage or upgrade to another hosting plan (such as reseller, VPS or dedi).

Just use as many MNS as you can until they tell you to upgrade plans. But you will need 10k UV each day from all of them to upgrade to VPS.

It all depends upon traffic, and bandwidth. You can even host 100 in one shared hosting, or 1 maximum in one account.
