I am having $103.49 in my Hostgator Account and i asked them to withdrawn that amount to my PayPal or Bank Account. They are saying they can't do that. They just can transfer the credit from hostgator to hostgator account only.
So it's mean they want to say that i can only spend that amount on any Hostgator Product.

I never liked them personally, and I would never top up my balance that much if I'm not gonna use it.

I guess it is their policy. Not much you can do about it however I would never use hostgator - They are just overpriced. There are way better hosting companies out there.

That's how majority of hosting and domain registration companies work, they don't refund the money back once you've spent on their platform.

And in Namecheap, the staff even actively told me I can withdraw the store points money to my paypal lol.

was this a credit that they gave you on the account? Then that would make sense on not being able to withdraw. Or if you pre paid for a service I could see them not refunding.

But if you added it to your account as a credit to use toward services later and then decide not to use them I don't see why they won't just refund it.

I know how you feel bro
once I tried to buy two auctioned domain from Godaddy for $120 then after I made the payment, 1 domain got into my account but the second one gone so I asked the Godaddy support team to refund my money for the second one, they said we can't transfer the money but you can use that amount as credit to use on further purchases on Godaddy. I can't do anything they were really strict about that so I left my remaining balance for about a year there to use...:(
They were like once the money got into their pocket they won't refund you but forces you to use on other services from them..

If you topped the account up with the amount, do a chargeback.

Go with Wpxhosting guys you will thank me later, a bit costly but worth it....defo better than Siteground and Namehero

That not a scam but more like a shit move from Hostgator.
