Hostgator reseller link building

Hi has anyone tried this with success?

If I buy a reseller account at hostgator and give each domain a seperate IP do the links between domains here count for anything search engine wise?

Most likely they would all be from the same C-Block (not sure if you can request unique ones), some people believe you need different class-c addresses.

I don't think it would be worth the $2/month charge per ip address. For that cost you can just buy a decent link.

Yeah they are all in same c block on the reseller, no other options. They have the seo hosting now you get like to choose 5 differnt cblocks from a list of like 60 or so and you can swap them out if needs be. Its a little more xpensive, like 35 a month but im happy with it so far. Switched from reseller for that very reason. Additionally seo hosting is the same as reseller in all other regards, sepperate account creation etc.
