HostGator Refund?

Two days ago I purchased the hatchling plan from Hostgator for ~$8. I have since decided to go with a different hosting provider altogether. I have not used the hosting plan from Hostgator, nor have I bought/linked a domain to it. Is there any way I could go about getting a refund?

open a support ticket and tell them you ordered by mistake, might be lucky enough to get a refund...

I've never went about getting a refund from them, but they say they have a no questions asked 45 day refund policy. Whether it's that easy is another matter.

There's only one way to find out ;

Contact them, ask politely, tell them your brother or sister gave up or something.

Worst case losing $8 is not going to cost you an arm either, will it?? How much time and effort is $8 worth to you? Time is money.....

Just ask for a refund and you will get it.

I had bought hosting from hostgator, but their server wasn't able to handle my site and I had to ask for a refund. I got it within 48 hours.
