hostgator problems?

hostgator is being stale right now. i made an account about an hour ago and still have not gotten a conformation email. its like wtf. so i cant sign in or make it to where i can get my domain name connected to my hostgator account. is anyone having a prob with hostgator right now?

check your mail may be they asked for additional verification.

I used hostgator a years ago. They just request me to email ic or driver license for verification.
