So I promote hostgator through their in-house affiliate program, its paid good but I hate how long it takes to get paid. When I was on CJ today I noticed that many hosting providers have the same terms, "sales close after 60 days", however the hostgator affiliate page on CJ says that their sales close at the 10th of the month. Does anyone know if this is true? If so I will be switching to CJ to promote hostgator.

The questions is can you trust a merchant who have negative feedbacks on all over the web. I am an affiliate of hostgator but don't use them in my affiliate marketing places because frankly i want to give my clients a good thing that will attract them in future not something that will make them hate my campaigns.
If its written there then its true. 10th of every month.

Go with CJ. I heard many complaints about in-house affiliate marketing.

yes its true because in Cj they pay on time and sale will cancelled in 2 months they cut the amount from your current balance , but hostgator direct will give you extra incentive which will be good if you can give 21+ sales. You can give webtech25off to your users which will give them 25% discount.

You could always promote Justhost I think they are still there.

HostGator is going downhill, but their name still sells itself.

If you laser your manager what the income requiements for earlier payment you could always ask him about it.

I would like to suggest you to go with CJ because they are always on time. And Hostgator has few negative impression for in house affiliate.

Hostgator went to bad after EIG. I would have a video talking about how they went downhill and how to avoid companies bought by EIG, Then promote some other hosting service.

Personally I like hostgator, very affordable and support is always good. I guess you can sign up and try cj as well - do some split testing.
