When we use curl we can often specify what IP we want to use.

Well, some shared hosting come with multiple IP. I don't know. Maybe an error.

Do anyone knows any hosting with lots and lots of IPs?

That way we can randomize IPs between say 256 IPs and make gmails, etc.

I've heard cloackfish has unlimited IP. Well, that's nice. But I need the one that work with curl.

Is there blackhat hosting with lots of IPs?

You can sometimes find 20-30 IPs maybe more on shared hosters.
They don't need many IPs as they are sharing one IP for many domains.

You sometimes can abuse them as proxy, depending on system security and firewalls.

This can cause serious legal and financial problems.
Just a few words:
* computer fraud
* traffic abuse and overuse
* using IPs another customer "owns" for spam etc.
* admin hours

They will find it out sooner or later and then they might sue you.
I don't know but it's even possible that it counts as computer fraud (one of the many laws on that) as you use IPs that are not owned by you.

There are a few seo-hosting companies, they probably have a lot of IPs.
If you must do it try do it with a small comany, those are more likely to just kick you once they catch you and not have a lawyer ready or run to police.

Depending on the admin they will kick you within hours after you start abusing them.

I'd not do it.

Btw, cloakfish can be used with curl in case you have a license.
As long as cloakfish runs on the same server as the php script. By connecting to port 29999 you make it change the IP, and SOCKS is on port 30000 (127.0.0.1).

Hello, in 99% of cases there really is no real valid reason why you would want to constantly change your IP address unless you were doing something like scraping etc

Hosts are aware of this and whilst they may put up with it for a short while, in the end they will ask why you need to do this.

Better to just used paid proxies

While some shared hosting may offer multiple IPs you can bet that they are probably already beaten down and next to useless for most things, especially on the larger webhosts like Hostgator. Also chances are that if you cannot see a place to allocate multiple IPs in your control panel, you are pretty much stuck with the same IP.

I am not familiar with Cloakfish, but there is no such thing as "unlimited" IP addresses. IPv4 only allows for 4.2 billion addresses and those are getting allocated quickly.

Personally I don't trust paid proxies, but that's just me. I know there are some good ones out there, but I would rather have complete control over my endpoints. That way I don't have to worry about who is snooping in on my traffic, etc.

You can go to someone like Spry and get a VPS with two IPs and a terabyte of transfer for around $33/month. For an additional $50/month you can get an additional 25 IPs that are all yours - no sharing. If one of them gets banned, it's because of something you did and not one of the 10,000 other people using the IP like with shared hosting. You can rDNS them too, and they are pretty well scattered across the address space so you don't wind up with fishy looking sequential IPs.

That's a total of 27 private IPs for $83/month, which for some is too expensive but depending on what you're doing it can be very cheap.

Oh and there are plenty of legitimate reasons why someone would need multiple IPs, particularly when doing load testing and security auditing of web applications.

[Disclosure: I am not associated with Spry, but I have been a VPS and dedicated server customer of theirs for some time and have been exceptionally happy with them.]

Well I want to create lots of youtube accounts and gmail accounts and I have a PhP script that acts as webproxy.

I don't think that hurts the hosting in anyway.
