Just about to by a site with over 1,000 products in it. I'm using Hostgator (unlimited package) but usually only have some articles on my sites.

Hostgator won't get pissed off with me doing this, right ?

As far as I know I don't actually have 1,000 files for each page...it's done through php/ databases (I'm a noob with this sorta stuff)

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but hostgator is not going to get mad at you for how much content you do or dont have.

Whether google ranks you is a different story. But your webhost wont care.

That's pretty much what I was worrying about.

I just didn't want Hostgator thinking I'm using massive sites that are taking up a lot of space for them.

It has around 1,500 products on it but it has around 10,000 in a database whatever that means.

    Thanks.

I have the hostgator baby package and I have about 18 ecommerce stores with hundreds to hundreds of thousands of products in each one. Each domain has an email marketer attached to it that's running a cron twice a day. All this for just 6 GBP per month.

    I love hostgator :D
