Hostgator affiliate program sucks!

so I am a customer of host gators, I have a reseller through them as well as a business account.

They have not paid my affiliate payouts and there is always a trouble. I finally see the green light today and I ask for payout and they tell me that too much time has passed.

Anyone know a way around this? Any advice? I want my money!

That's surprising if you ask me.

They always paid me on time, without any problem ever.
 
UPDATE:
I threatened to leave their hosting. They did not even respond to my email. When the time came I put in a cancellation notice with them. They then responded saying they would pay my affiliate commissions as well as give me two months free on my hosting. Image below of email.

As things are getting harder for business's Im hearing more stories like this. The lesson here is treat every dollar thats owed to you as your next meal.9 I used to be pretty relaxed when it comes to the time it takes people to pay me. Thats not the case anymore. Rule of thumb: Everyone is trying to rip you so get on the case from the off.
 
And they take SOOOOO long to pay.... 60 days :/
 
I've always been paid on time by them and like the email you got back shows, awesome customer service.
 
Go with a better hosting affiliate company like GVO. I have been with them since 2005. Here is the non affiliate link at gogvo.com, they just opened up a new program call host then profits that is amazing. If you need anymore info from me send me a pm.
 
Their customer service rocks don't get me wrong but their affiliate managers must be where the gator comes from because those guys are snakes.

I know the thread is old but did they own up to the email and pay you?
 
yep i have never been a fan of the affiliate hosting deals. I use it and have my customers to go to my links to set up hosting but it takes forever to get payment. Half the time i forget about it until money shows up.

I used to own a hosting company and then sold out. I am thinking about opening one back up and do like 2.99 hosting plans or some mess like that just to play with the big boys. lol
