Hosted a new site, need some tips.

I hosted a new arcade site and it's been 18 days.. since then I managed 1K+ FB likes, 100+ daily visitors, got my adsense account too :)

My next goal is to get a good PR (It is 0 now)... I need some tips from SEO pros over here :)

Any way to get good backlinks for the arcade site ?? as link exchange thing with other arcade sites is very much time taking. Most of them don't even reply (may be because I am new)... I know it depends on time but if there are ways to get it faster, I would love to know them :)

I would go to sites like squidoo and write a quick article about arcade games etc and leave one link back to your site. You can even do things like search yahoo answers for questions with arcade in it and reply to it with some helpful info and leave the a link to your site.. But dont make it look spamy.

Believe it or not you don't need any links to get pagerank.. I have sites that have a PR of 4 with zero (0) back links.. Just add good unique content and keep the outbound links to a minimum.
 
Some Unique Content and some backlinks from blogs are useful to get pagerank :)
 
I'd purchase a couple good private network links (PR3-4), and see if there are other game site owners interested in a link exchange.
