Shi*Heads from Hostable sent me an email telling that my account had been suspended.

I asked them to to afford me the courtesy of an explantion as to what I did wrong?

Their response was that I had 'cron jobs' set up WTF

What IMer does not have an autoresponder?

The thing is I had not even placed the responder onto my site.
I only installed it to check if it actually worked

Just check that you don't get problems

I really don't understand what the problem is

IF I had used the autoresponder. Any emails sent out would only have been sent after double optin

If anyone has any tips as how to avoid this I would really appreciate it
Cheers

If they mention Cron jobs, it is more likely the ressources used to perform the cronjobs. It isn't about spamming or not.

Here are the 2 scenarios from a web hosting providers perspective.

1) The ressources usage is an oddity to any regular account but no impact on the server. (they should have written you asking you to reduce the load or to move to an appropriate solution)

2) The ressources usage has an impact on all the users. And of course, it happened suddenly. There, they wouldn't have any choice. Especially if you don't have direct contact with them.

If you want to see what's wrong, try to restore an access to your website and add me on Skype : host-stage
