Hello BHW experts, I'm in the autoblog way. I'm studying this business for severals months I read everything for autoblog that become available from genius guys here. I prefer to start very carefully, I'm not want to lost my time, money and my energy to start this business in the wrong way. So, now, I finally "cracked the code" I set everything here, the best advices from experts, the best plugins, themes, etc. I'm reading at this moment here in BHW the Biggest problem with autoblogs is hosting. I don't agree this business is "set and forget". We need to get hands to share experience with all hosting issues like: shared host is really good for autoblogs? Yes or No? Share your experience? Lets start a Pool on it! We need the services names. I hear that lunarpages is good for autoblogs? Is it really good? share your experience here. seohosting is from hostgator. I plan to host 5 autoblogs per dedicated IP, Is it can be dangerous as seohosting is from the urrghh hostgator?

Please, help!

IXwebhosting gives you 15 x dedicated IP + 3 free domains for $100 per year.

No cpanel but their own is quite easy to use.

Pm if you want my affiliate link :D

I've fallen out with dreamhost over server usage so I've moved everything out of there.

Hostgator seem to be ok for me but I'm paying them $25 per month + $2 per IP which adds up fast. If only I wasnt so lazy I'd have moved everything to IX already.

IXwebhosting sounds great, just checked them out.

What would you recommend for how many domains per ip? I would like to setup a autoblog, and i don't want to exceed the domains per IPs.

any ideas?

The point of using different IP addresses is so that you can link them together & get the link juice (as long as they are on different class C's) and B so if google takes a look at the websites on 1 server you won't lose 100 sites in one go.

I have WPMU blogs up there now with 10-25 blogs on each with no problems so far.

If you start earning from them I'd suggest to buy another package of 15 x IP again.

I personally never pay ahead of time for hosting or yearly payments. What if the hosting bans you or go out of business? You then lost your money.

reseller hosting should not be more than 10 and shared 2 or 3 domains per IPs.

anyone can tell me if IXwebhosting can manage well wordpress plugins, shutdown accounts for example?

Check out Indianets.com

A snippet from my autoblog guide..

Indianets.com (Cheap shared Class C IPs which will work fine for what we need. You can get up to 50 IPs for $55/Month, each with its own cPanel. Perfect! Indianets.com is the cheapest with up to 50 IPs for $55/month, but Hostgator is the most reliable web host as they're hosted at The Planet. I use Hostgator for my autoblogs, but indianets.com might be the better deal.)

Or go with Hostgator.. they're a little more expensive but they're solid.

Cheers,

I haven't had any problems with HostGator, and I host about half my autoblogs there.

They're hosted at The Planet and from what I've seen they're pretty laid-back about things.

If there is someone out there who's made this their business, and proud of your standing as a hosting provider-- I'm looking to offer autoblog hosting offer to my blogsense customers... to make things easier for them and possibly generate some commission for myself. pm me!

hostgaor will suspend your blogs if it's a strain on their servers

Of course, you just have to make sure they're not a strain on their servers.

WP Super Cache does wonders.

IX webhosting delete mysql without your permission if your autoblog uses more resources

Its run by a BHW mod. They will not ban you for hosting autoblogs. (the trouble of switching host is just too much) Thats one of their USP.

Pm the owner here
