Hositing that comes defualt with godaddy Q?

Im a noob OBV

I am registering a domain taking my first step in AM, and I am asking if the default hosting that comes with registering my domain a good deal... it says that my domain will be 1.99 if i purchase something else (hosting) hosting is $4.99 for 10gb and unlimited bandwith

I don't like godaddy, but if that's indeed the deal, it's not too bad.
I don't know how their support is, but it's pretty brutal for other services.

You can get the same deal at arvixe.com and there you get a free domain for life as long as you keep the hosting. You can host up to 6 sites with this one.

For Godaddy they are slooowwwww. I have some sites there but to answer your question, you can do it with the economy hosting. You will only be able to host one domain. You can add others but they will all go to that root folder.

Thanks for the help...i think i will just try a free hosting until i am competent with what i am doing...is there any free hosting that is not as terrible as the others that anybody recommends?

Free hosting is very limited. Why don't you try a wordpress or blogger free blog?

I generally dont pay attention to them so im sure i would be missing out potential traffic
