I get 100 easy hops a day from Twitter but no sales.

Has anyone sold any affiliate products through Twitter ? I seem to fail at that.

yes, the conversion seems to be stupidly low.
I guess it all depends on your "sales technique". Are your forcefeeding cold sales, and are you following targeted people? Variables like this will make the difference

Yeah it's cold selling - And from what i understand - Twitter is full of curious ppl, so they click away to glory but don't pay a dime. LOL.

Definitely full of curious people, but 90% of them seem to be other marketers.

Try warm up your leads a bit, and target more specifically.

That's just common sense advice, I cant say CB on Twitter works too well for me, I havnt made my millions on clickbank using twitter (yet).

Most products get flogged repeatedly on twitter, so you might be the 10th person to advertise the same product to the same person in the same day.
I know i get spammed by the same crap over and over, people claiming they can get 10,000 followers, yet they only have 500 followers, spaming me, and I'll actually already have more than 10,000, it's all a bit moronic.

The traffic is still useful for watering down other, perhaps, BH, methods so don't discard it if it isn't costing you much time.

Never tried it myself, but the there was someone back on DP forums that claimed he ain't making any moneniez with more than 50K followers. Just another waste of time - Twitter..

Blast out some articles on Ezine and you'll see a lot more sales coming in..

Its a long process. Believe me there is lot going on in twitter. But I can tell you this is the best option if you can use it properly. there is a stat that says only 10% make money and the other don't know what they are missing. I am not saying you need to be a guru but have you considered that there might be problem with the niche or you method and not the twitter. Why don't you share?

It's all about the followers. If they are targeted they will buy. One thing I noticed is that the people that actually use their account for non-marketing purposes have less than 200 following/followers. These are the people that are more inclined to click on links and buy products since their twitter is not satured with thousands of marketing tweets. I have yet to find a program or site that allows you to choose who to add based on the number of people they are following or the number of followers. I feel that if this were possible and you add only people with less than 200 followers, the conversion rate will increase so much higher.
