Hooray! I ranked my first niche site(low comp) #2!

Today is a very happy day. I just ranked my first website #2 on google.
(I think I got banned from Yahoo and Bing for building backlinks... How can I find out the reason why my site is not showing up on their search engine?)

My keyword is very low competition with very low CPC. But the methods from BHW actually worked, amazing!
I will try a more competitive keyword next time to actually make money...I have made like 1 cent so far from adsense and I spent like $30 dollar to build the whole website...

Good start well done for your first little victory, now move on to slightly harder targets with higher CPC and you will be on your way.
 
Congrats! which method did you follow to achieve your results?

Also you can add your site to bing webmaster to see the problem
 
I remembered when I first rank my niche site and when it first made money with amazon. I still feel that joy when I rank my sites even now. So I know the feeling. Congratulations! Now go for moderate competition KW and when you have perfected your techniques, you can go for KW like 'payday loan' :(

At the first looking your post I was stopped!! Just thinking about that days when my site got rank. It was so much enjoyable news for my journey.
Is it your marketing related site? or others?
Already, you have taken a better decision that's why you started to get feedback. That'll really better for you and thanks for sharing these post because newbies will be get more inspiration from these post.

You actually said that?
Listen,Yahoo and Bing will take ages before they put you on page one....and when this happen you will probably be out of top 500 at Google.

congrats. Now do a little research on what you did and what did not work. and move to the next site and start working on it. Its a learning process its not going to happen over night

Anyways, good job! Working on my first website too and I hope to rank in page 1 soon! How long did it take you to reach page 1, lets say from the time you built your first backlink?

Congratulations. You are doing it right. Not worrying to much about earning and more about learning for the first few projects is the way to go. It is much better to start with something easy and get a success that motivates you to start you next project than to be too ambitious, fail and then loose motivation.

Most people dream too much about big and easy money and forget that that for serious IMs there is just learning and hard work. You have taken your first step and if you keep it up you will be running in no time.
