Hookup.com is a SCAM

Hello! i'm back in this forum after a long time to share my experience and warn about the service of "Hookup.com".

I was working as a affiliate with this website with a program that gave $4 for making others to sign up with your affiliate link. At the start it was all ok but then I realized that there were any dollar for some of the people that were signing up with my aff link. I thought at fist that maybe they were from the countries that were restricted by the program (because there were some restricted countries that didn't count for the payment if those people signed up). But I saw that there were some countries that weren't the restricted ones. I started to suspect. After some complain messages they pay me a bit more ($94) but not what it was supposed to be. The problem is that they sent me a check that in my country can't be changed. After a while I sent message explaining and asking to change it to pay pal but the message was there for a year and i didn't get an answer. I have sent 2 messages more complaining and they don't answer.

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS SITE.

If someone from the staff of hookup.com is reading this, I hope that you can solve this problem because I don't think it's convinient for you to loose future affiliates for $94 that I know it's nothing for you.

You've earned $4 in 2012 and $94 in 2011.

We sent you a check more than 2 years ago, because you didn't have PayPal, you told us to send you a check.

Log into your account and change your payment details to PayPal.

HookUP.com is very successful.
We make good money and pay our affiliates millions of dollars.
We have an awesome team and great affiliate managers.

We pay on time.

If it's not a scam why you don't answer? I'm telling you that i need my payment. The check you sent me can't be changed in my country i need you to send me the payment via paypal. Cancel the check or something. Unless answer.

If I am not wrong...this belongs to the shitlist as it's pointless to post in affiliate programs section.

OP: Why didn't you look at the payment methods before you started promoting the program. If you didn't have a PayPal account and there is not bank that you can cash the check, then not getting paid is your own fault. hookup.com isn't going to chase up some noob so they can pay them $200, they have better shit to worry about.

They sent you a check like you requested it was your fault you didnt check if you can cash it and also why did you wait 2 years, you should just say goodbye to that money and forget about it.

Hi, do you pay 4 bucks per any country or just the top ones ? Which is your minimal payout? I am happy with crakrevenue, but I would not mind to send a little traffic just to test. I have youtube traffic.

I really don't understand if your point is to be seeing like a pro or rich. $98 mean something for me and for many people. I worked for that money and my complain is because this website doesn't give the help needed by the affiliates. They should help if a user is having troubles with something. And you can see that they aren't helping me yet and ignoring me. I'm warning about this website because as far as I could see is a scam.

To them, an affiliate that makes $98 doesn't mean shit. They have affiliates that make much more money than that and they are busy helping them. How are they a scam? They sent you a cheque didn't they? If you come back two years later complaining about not being able to cash it, that's your own fault. Don't come on here and start calling legitimate companies scammers just because you're too stupid to get paid.

I just sent a note over to accounting to pay you this week, and make sure your account is deleted.

We paid you $98 via check like you asked, 2 years ago. You have that check.
You just updated your new PayPal address, and now we will pay you again.
