Hong Kong Statutory Reports

I am in the process of opening a HK limited company, but have one question to clarify:
- Can statutory reports for HK officials be prepared by yourself (unqualified accountant)?
I read online that there is no restrictions in terms of who to call an "accountant" there, however I am not quite sure if being an unqualified accountant and also non-resident allows you to report on your company's financial performance without paying few grand a year to local accountants.
