Homepage PR2 ...Inner shitty page PR5 ?? WTF

I was disappointed with the recent PR update that my homepage only rose from PR0 to PR2 especially considering the many stories on here of big PR jumps.

I've just seen that one of my inner pages has a PR5 ?? Which is strange because i have many articles on the site but none of them seem to be above PR2. The PR5 page has only 1 or 2 links to it from internal links and absolutely NO external links.

That and there's only 1 sentence on this page lol.

Nice to see a PR5 page on your website, but why i got it i have no idea.

That is very very strange indeed.

Are you sure that there's no incoming links? How are you checking your backlinks?

I've seen internal pages have more PR before but usually its a result of backlinks to those posts/pages from strong external websites.

I just found the same thing on one of my blogs... random article with no link is a PR 4

Same with one of mine. The home page was a pr2 an another page with a lot of spun crap that didnt make sense was a pr4 lol.

Use that inner page with good PR to link to the pages you want to rank on your blog.

Pass that PR Juice around... !

same here.... one of my homepages that I have been backlinking the sh*t out of wont move past a pr2 (even with a ton of pr5-pr6 links) meanwhile a link on that home page to a subfolder with ZERO backlinks is a PR4...lol

if you can figure it out let me know

Main page PR2. Inner pages, including category and tag pages, are PR3.

I don't know what i caused this but I have two pages on my site that totally lack content but still they have a PR of 2 while the main home page to which I have focused on link building has a PR of 1. What is causing this and why? What am I missing here?
