Homepage OBL VS Insidepage OBL

It comes to our attention many of our clients asked about which page is the best to get the link from

HOMEPAGE link or INSIDEPAGE link. Please vote!

I guess it depends on the setup - homepage is likely to have more power, but it depends if the link can fit naturally on the homepage and also if it’s a contextual link.

Will it trigger something if all your links coming from homepage link?

Well, who knows, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend that. The more natural it looks the better.

Imagine google has a graph plotting all sites and their link profiles. Then they can take average values, median values etc and understand what ranges define normal, exceptional and abnormal.

If anything about your setup stands out as an anomaly then that’s likely to get flagged up.
