Yep, it is. Rotate your cookies, check to see if they've been stuffed, I think once every seven days was the goal of someone (Dave?).

My thinking was that it was the start of his trend, and if he is keeping track now, and getting his system down before he gets banned he'll want to be more careful. Think ahead a bit.

Although you can think just about the here and now if you want, but it seems to be a waste that way.

Keep ctr on 25% max... so, stuff cookie for every 4th/5th visitor.

honestly though..unless your stuffing over 500 cookies a day with only 1000 impressions or under they ARENT going to care..

Its easily possible to get 500 clicks on some sites so..

but 25,000 clicks is nearly impossible for most people especially with impressions.

The only sites that get a really high ctr are sites primarily based around that affiliate program... but those sites USSUALLY dont get that much traffic either... The sites that get that much traffic are ussually good sites with a TON of traffic but arent really based around a program so its harder to get clicks

    get my drift?

Yep, I do. I just guessed his goals were a whole lot higher, not just the given numbers. I'd have to reread Dave's thread to see what traffic he had before he got busted.

    Guys,

It is not my intention to change the scope of this discussion, but you have peaked my curiosity and I have a quick question.

My CJ CTR is mostly between 35%-52% And sometimes higher...I don't use cookie stuffing. I have alot of niche sites and use the ebay scripts so people are coming to my sites for long-tail keywords that are all centered around buying something.

Should I be concerned that it is too high and will get flagged, even though I don't use any cookie stuffing?

    Thanks for your feedback.

no you'll be fine dont worry...as long as they dont see any iframes youll be fine. Im sure thousands of other ppl are getting that also.

Sometimes I had like 200 clicks and 5 impressions because only some websites had the banner

everybody's talking about iframes getting discovered. What about cookie-stuffing with the java script thingy?

Also, does CJ really try and bust people as long as the publisher doesn't complain, the affiliate is making money and THEY are making money? Wouldn't you have to get pretty big to be "above the radar"?
