Holy mosses, Google really hurt me

So just like the rest of the world my site stats went from 70,000+ views a month to about 15,000..... wow!

Now I'm working more on site content and a fast user experience.

What's the most important things for me to do with a new site at this point?

I would think that building links is still the best thing you can do, just make sure that you are spreading these links around and not just using one method of link building.
