    Hi,

If I wanted to build a holiday price comparison site and get affiliate commission from each sale how would I go about doing this? Are there specialist hotel/flight/holiday affiliate sites?

Will I manually need to insert all the affiliate links and pictures etc into a mysql table or are there feeds that I would be able to use?

    Any advice would be great!

    Thanks,
    Ollie

Hotelscomined offer a PPC option so you can get paid per referal.

Hotelcalculator has a program also. I think you need to sign up with each booking company like Booking, Venere, Priceline, yourself and hotelcalculator provide the comparison engine. With Hotelcalculator you earn a percentage of each sale which might be better than pay per referal.

Otherwise you need to build your own comparison engine

    Thanks,

I am also interested in the flight and package holiday offers, are there any similar networks or services that you know about for this?

    Thanks a lot,
    Ollie

    @ollie.

Firstly these comparison site is big money if targeted well.

To get the XML feeds of these holiday companies you have to apply to the well know affiliate networks (not the cpa ones)

But, its fuckin hard to implement these XML feeds in your wordpress or joomla site.

Conclusion is that u gotta to built a custom site that can output these feeds and make it very user friendly.

If u have any questions still contact me, keep me updated, im on the same road as u.

You wanna get the parsing right, so visitors can search and compare accordingly, and THATs a pain in the hole. If only someone could....

How is the comparison site going? I am trying to set up my own small travel offer site with a little twist. It is hard to get the prices for flights I think I will offer my holidays without flights.
