Hi everyone 
. As for a bit of bg, I embarked on a "deals" site in 2008 which needless to say flopped. Back then I knew precious little about SEO or promotion, I simply purchased some banners and used adwords around Christmas, spending around $300, hundreds of hours, and making $220.
I'm picking IM up again and trying my hand at building niche community sites that will ideally garner a good following/residual income using white hat tactics. As far as the technical side any suggestions along those lines are welcome, I plan to use Social Engine which looks good and is apparently scalable.
Anyways I hope to glean the resources and knowhow available on BHW as well as help wherever I can (even though I'm fairly clueless now).
I realize it's difficult to reconcile greed with helpfullness, after all this all about business and many here are competitors, but at least I think BHW strikes a good balance. So far I've learned more about white hat stuff than in warriorforums or similar sites and I really like how people here pull no punches.
